Looking to the future!
We will be converting to a new computer system on Monday, April 6, with MANY great features to improve efficiency and accessibility. With that comes a learning curve and some bugs to work out though, so bear with us over the next few weeks as we learn to navigate the new system. We think it will all be worth it-- eventually will include a "MyChart" type pet portal! We thank you in advance for your patience. 💜

It has come to our attention that multiple social media scam pages are selling T-shirts with our logo as "fundraisers". We are NOT part of these pages or any fundraising projects. Please report the pages as scams if you see them and do not make any purchases. It appears they have done this to many practices ... ☚ī¸

It has been a rough weekend, but we are planning to be open Monday, January 26th--we just may be running a little late! We will be short staffed and most of us live outside of town and haven't tested the roads yet, so please be patient if it takes us a little longer than normal to get to work. If you need to reschedule your appointment for Monday, we completely understand that as well. Just give us a call and we will get it taken care of! Be safe!

We are getting some equipment upgrades for better internet connection on Monday, December 29, which means we will have some disruption in service between 1-3:00p.m. potentially. This will affect out phone service as well. We apologize for the inconvenience but hope it will be worth it for increased speed and service in the long run. Thank you for your patience.

We have growing pains! We have added a doctor, but also added new family members and life circumstances to our staff families, creating new work schedule needs. We are looking to add both receptionists and technician and / or assistant positions, full or part time! We are BUSY and the jobs are fast paced, but we think rewarding--and we have the best clients and patients, so that definitely makes it worth it! So... A couple of weeks ago, I had the honor of "hooding" Taylor Miller as she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of IL, 36 years after Russell and I were on the same stage! It was a great day, but even better, starting next week, Taylor will be joining me at AnRus Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian. She worked at the clinic in high school and undergrad, being a Freeburg girl, and so she worked years with Russell and knows our culture and staff well and will be an AMAZING fit! We are beyond excited to have her join us! Please welcome Dr. Miller to our practice!

LATE OPENING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 19!!

As of midnight on Tuesday, we are planning a late opening on Wednesday, February 19 due to anticipated road conditions during the early morning hours. We plan to open at 10:00 a.m., BUT if road conditions are poor, we may close for the day for the safety of staff and clients. If you have an appointment or a need on Wednesday, please call the clinic prior to setting out to be certain we are in the office. Sorry for any inconvenience--it is very hard to make these calls, especially when the forecast seems to be all over the place! Be safe and remember...this too shall pass. 😁đŸĨļ

Due to the poor road conditions and dangerous travel, we will be closed Monday, January 6, 2025. We plan to re-open with normal hours on Tuesday, January 7. If you had an appointment scheduled for Monday, we will be reaching out to you on Tuesday to reschedule. We are supposed to get some extremely cold weather this week as well, so please take precautions for yourself and for your pets. Thank you for your patience as we try to keep everyone safe.
