Little tune up before hauling back to WildFire tomorrow, I’d say she listened a little too well 😂🫣 I can’t even be mad because she did exactly what I asked. Here’s to seeing what happens tomorrow!

Is this the prettiest run we’ve made? Oh no. But, for being fresh and broncy, and for learning how to get over the panic of being pulled on, I can’t wait to look back and see how far Stinger has come in a year. I guess this cooler air has all the girls feeling good because both Cardi and Stinger decided I was fit to be a Bronc Rider yesterday at Wild Fire! 😅 despite bucking literally on the way into the alley, Cardi shaped up to have a halfway pretty lope through, even if she was angry I wasn’t going to let her have anymore speed or rein.

The -G takes on barrel racing! Poco is a saint and has only seen the pattern a handful of times. Loped a 26.8 second on a standard! Y’all, if we could get papers, we wouldn’t sell her! Not many 3 year olds can do as much as she can!

Everyone is back to school!! Those coming 2 year olds are going to be starting kindergarten soon. Fidget is showing off what 60 days in MKP’s program can look like.

Do you have your horse’s teacher picked out for C**t starting? We have ONE opening for October. Otherwise we are booked until April! Feed and board are included with our training price. Reach out if you’re looking for someone to get your horse set up on the right path for a lifelong career!

One of the toughest parts about training and jockeying Stinger is her tendency to tense and lock up when she feels someone pull on the bit rather that “guide her”. However, there are some runs I know I’ll be a bit more heavy handed than I mean to be so we are working on Feet Follow Face and being much more supple at coming to my hand if I pull rather than bracing and pulling away

Cardi, I’m genuinely sad you go home the end of this month but your mom is going to have so much fun hauling you! 🥹 bit change and some deliberate warm up in preparation for this weekends haul and she put together a very respectable pattern. Forward motion at the second is still a work in progress, but there was a time this mare had no idea how to follow her face and feet. You’re so fun, you spicy tamale 💕

Riding lessons with MKP

Do you have to have your own horse? No! Thankfully, we have a few to choose from! While most get the babysitter, Babe, we do have MKP’s personal horse Stinger and -G’s, Poco, we are using if Babe is a little off.

Can you bring your own horse? Absolutely! We encourage bringing your own horse to work on any issues you might be having to help you two become a better team!

We want to help YOU achieve YOUR goals!

We offer basic beginner lessons, barrel racing lessons, C**t starting lessons, basic care, etc.

Spots are limited with everyone going back to school, so please reach out if you’re looking for a fun, private facility to ride at!
