This coming Monday, May 25th, 2026 the clinic will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

Recently we have seen multiple confirmed cases all on different sides of Wilson county of Bobcat fever! This disease is spread by the Lone Star Tick and can be fatal! Prevention is best, we recommend year-round flea and tick prevention.

🐮 As of 2025, Kansas is ranked 3rd in number of cattle on feed with 2.5 million.

🐮January 1, 2025 shows Kansas 6th in the nation in beef cow numbers with 1.23 million head.

🐮 According to KDA beef cattle farming and ranching has a direct output of 11.7 billion dollars and employs approximately 38,601 people.

Our last meet the staff Monday (on a Tuesday) is Dr. Nicole! Dr. Nicole has been with the clinic long before she graduated vet school. She is always willing and eager to jump in and see the complicated cases. Dr. Nicole especially enjoys working with cattle. We are very blessed to have her at Salt Creek!
