Sending prayers to all of the families effected by the Utah fires. This land has been enriched by farms, ranches, livestock, and memories for so many. Please be safe out there. Thank you to the firefighters, and volunteers helping.

πŸ”₯ Feeding Slack πŸ”₯
Many of us overlook the fact that muscles connect at multiple points. The three muscles below are great examples of this. Numerous horses experiencing poll and hyoid pain also exhibit pain in their thoracic sling.
By releasing the fascia at one point of the muscle and "feeding slack" towards the direction of the other end of the muscle, you release the entire pattern of pain and create long-lasting biomechanical relief.

This horse presents with "tight rope walking." After just 4 sessions, we have made leaps and bounds. I am so excited to keep moving forward with this guy and see what we can do!
Indicated muscles: Long digital extensor, Lateral digital extensor, Gastrocnemius, Deep digital Flexor, Gracillis, Semimembranosus, Gluteus, Longissimus, Biceps Brachii, Transverse Pectoral,
Right Side Specific: Latissimus Dosi, Supraspinatus, Subclavius

He is very soft through his poll, jaw, and upper neck. On his right side, he has some compensatory strain under the shoulder blade, arm pit, and through the barrel. I believe the problem starts from the tightening between his hind legs in conjunction with some tightness over the point of his hip. This can cause tightrope walking.
