Thinking about having an end of the summer bash. One weekend only. Including camping. Membership sign up at entry. If we open next season, you're already a member. Going to be having long discussions to get this to work. This WILL be big.
Please let us know by liking this post if you would plan on coming.
I have a lot to do if this happens. I gotta do something..

We would like to let all of our Offsets fans know that we are still fighting. We have not givin up.
Due to the Covid, our legalities have been put on hold for now, it has slowed any progress being made and we are not able to do much of anything at this time.
We very much miss our guests, as I am itching to get back at it and to see all of you! Reminiscing the good times and hoping for the future! Stay tuned guys!

I don't even know how to say this or begin to fully express how important what I am about to disclose is...

Our deepest apologies to everyone that has already planned to camp this weekend and has planned for a summer full of fun. Our hopes were to open this Friday for business. It seems so, we had our hopes too high.
We have just been informed, due to government over reach,we will be TEMPORARILY shut down. The court is holding us to a higher standard than government ran facilities. We (as a family and a business) just do not have the financial resources to fight the state.
The government should not be able to dictate nor demonize a privately owned business/swimming hole.
If you think/agree that this case is wrong and we are within our rights, please help us by contacting the MO state attorney general 573-290-5679 or the governor 573-751-3222 with your opinions and oppositions.
Everyone that signed the petition is asked kindly to write to the governor and is definitely well appreciated. Every phone call, letter, email counts.
WE WILL OPEN AS SOON AS THE INJUNCTION IS LIFTED, but doing so unfortunately will take time and a substantial amount of finances. We are starting a gofundme page for lawyer expenses and that's just a start. (we will post a link as soon as it's set up)

The more involvement and support we get, the sooner we can open. We are doing everything in our power to keep fighting and we're not giving up!
Again, we are so very sorry that it has to be this way for now. We will keep everybody posted as soon as I know further information.
We are just as upset as you are. We just have to do what we have to do for now.
