Cladda Case of the Week 🐾🩺 Incisional dehiscence occurs when a surgical incision reopens before it has fully healed and can require intensive wound management to support recovery.

This patient was referred to our team for advanced wound care after developing postoperative complications. Through repeated debridement, specialized bandaging techniques, and ongoing monitoring, healthy tissue formation progressed beautifully until the incision could be successfully closed 💚
Cases like this highlight the importance of diligent postoperative care, activity restriction, and early intervention when healing complications arise.

Overnight DVM Dr. Diebold’s Frenchie is very excited because we’re celebrating ONE YEAR of serving this incredible community! 🎉🐾

In just one year, we’ve had the privilege of caring for more than 7,100 patients — from emergencies and critical cases to happy discharges and everything in between.
To our clients, referring veterinarians, and dedicated veterinary team: thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to do what we love every single day. This past year has been filled with long nights, teamwork, compassion, and countless wagging tails, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Here’s to one amazing year — and many more to come. ❤️

As Virginia heats up, we want to help keep your pets safe.
☀️ Heatstroke ☀️ is something we see often this time of year, and knowing the signs can make all the difference.
If your pet shows unusual panting, drooling, low energy, or anything that feels off, it’s always better to be cautious.
We’re here if you need us—day or night. 🐾

Cladda Case of the Week 🐾🩺 Parvovirus is one of the most serious illnesses we treat in emergency medicine, especially in young, unvaccinated puppies.
This patient came to us critically ill and required intensive supportive care, close monitoring, and a dedicated team working around the clock. After a tough fight, this little one pulled through 💛
Cases like this are a powerful reminder of how important early vaccination and prompt veterinary care can be.
