Since I’m starting over in a new area, I figured I would introduce myself and tell you all a little bit about my business and what I’ve done over the past few years in Philly before we decided to move down here to Fredericksburg.
I was a flight attendant for 9 years before I decided to throw in the towel and go into pet care full-time. I’ve fostered about 15 dogs in my lifetime and I have raised and fostered kittens also. During my time in Philly I ended up with 3 rescue dogs because I just can’t say no to these sweet babies who need love and a home. They are my little family now. We also have an emotional support cat, Ghost, who is awesome. My dogs are champions of the trade and have helped me introduce new dogs and make them comfortable.
I do mostly walks and exercise for dogs who need to get out during the day. Got a crazy puppy? I will wear them out for you. All dogs are walked on leash until they have full trust, and some dogs with great recall would do pack walks with me in safe, off-leash designated areas, only with permission from the owners. I stick to mostly on-leash walks. My specialty however, is pack play and socialization. I had a whole crew of puppies that grew up together and played regularly in my yard. Pack play isn’t for every dog, but the ones who thrive in that environment learned so much from each other and were better dogs at home because of it. I miss my little pack terribly. On hot days, pack play turns into pool parties so everyone stays cool while they play. I also do one-on-one leash walks and runs (when it’s not too hot), drop-in visits for pets who need care while their owners are at work, weekend adventure walks, and home stays for when you are out of town. I have also helped rehabilitate animals after surgery and I do mental enrichment for dogs who need to get some energy out but are not able to play. I also specialize in exotic birds, and I am great with any animal: reptiles, bunnies, cats, rodents…. You name it, I do it.
I do require meet and greets before any services begin so I can get to know you and your pets and vice versa. Safety protocols are strictly adhered to, and I do have initial paperwork to fill out and sign so we can stay up to date on all your pets individual needs, including allergies and dietary restrictions. We also have a lot of fun, and I promise you won’t find a more caring and nurturing person to care for your animals. I am insured and am happy to provide references. I have reviews up as well from my time up north, so take a look.
Please feel free to message me about rates and services, and I’m so looking forward to meeting all the animals I’m going to love here in VA. Feel free to share and spread the word 💜
