Battlefield provides HEALTHY Australian Shepherds and Miniature American Shepherds who grow to be amazingly talented dogs. We are ethical, reputable, responsible, and show breeding stock to prove compliance to the standards of the breeds. Our dogs are lovingly raised at our home as part of the family. We live on 3 beautiful wooded acres in the country. Puppies are raised with plenty of stimulation

to the environment via sounds, touches, and smells. We use PUPPY CULTURE to help the puppy to be the best it can be. We work on manding with the puppies as well as starting clicker training. Puppies beginning crate training and potty training. Many puppies are fully potty trained before they leave and have no aversions to the crate at night. We provide their 8 weeks 5-way vaccination per state requirements and are dewormed throughout their time with us. Our puppies are introduced to "BATHES" and the dryer. We begin nail trimming at 2 weeks of age. We have pet and show prospects available to loving homes. Our dogs have had all their health testing done from CEA,PRA,HC, DM, MDR1, to the REQUIRED hip and elbow xrays at 2 years of age,OFA, and CERF eye exam by a licensed vet ophthalmologist. We only breed our dogs when testing is complete. INTEGRITY AND TRANSPARENCY are everything. We stand behind our dogs and what we do. We don't have litter after litter all year long. We selectively breed our dogs to create the best match. Form follows function. These dogs are not for everyone. Please research the breeds before contacting us. Ours can do their intended jobs which means they are athletic and active. This is not a couch potato breed. We also match our puppies to their owners. We are a field representative of Life's Abundance and our puppies eat this food for at least the first 2 years of life.

Ariana is healing nicely.

She gets time without the cone along with a clean of the big area, then she gets some neosporin on the lower region where it gets hot.

Saturday, I went to check on the area, and it was super angry. I was changing her outfit every evening but she was getting to it due to the flexible cone they gave me. So, I messaged Dr K and gave me the approval to clean. I cleaned the general area with Betadine but other incision area with saline. After the area was aired out, on went Neosporin.

Now she has a nice mesh cone from Chewy. I can sleep at night knowing she can’t get to her incision area.

We are at day 7 with 7 more to go in the suit.

After a big brush out to remove loose coat, a huge pile, she has been air conditioned too!

Thank you for your prayers.

The super old cat who gets to visit Courtney’s clippers decided to photobomb.

Ariana is home and sleeping, doing well. She ate but back to sleep she went. Dr K didn’t need to remove the Mammary chain only the lumps. Stitches are buried, so they will dissolve naturally.

Oh man! It was a rough day today and worrisome tomorrow.

Candy had her ultrasound to confirm pregnancy.

We have sad news. She is not pregnant. 😢😢😢😢😭

Penny has her OFA X-rays scheduled, so we will most likely breed her.

Because we give retired dogs to forever homes and have had no litters, we are working on empty.

Ariana has a big surgery tomorrow due to lumps that appeared again. So, they are removing the entire mammary chain. They are not appearing malignant but will not know until the biopsies come back. One is definitely a sebaceous cyst as that was what the other was before.

Please pray for Ariana tonight. These changes occurred before her spay, so they just got big enough to notice.

Sara getting all ‘thatched’ since I am able to stand a longer time.

1. Deshed with a rake, or slicker designed to remove undercoat.
2. When you think you got it all you didn’t. Just saying. Shampoo next.
3. Oops, two shampoos. I thought the shampoo bottle was conditioner. 😂😂😂
4. Conditioner and rinse using my Sav Ur Fur nozzle. Not a lot fell out.
5. Blow dry and general groom. Good lord! Where did the fur come from. Yikes.
6. Feet, nub, feathers, and hocks trimmed. I did ears but still wet a little so will fix that later when she is fully dry. She had enough.

Sara has a visit with her new family that had Mercedes from Chai and Grizz litter, and now Dexter from Nick and Kohl litter.

We do visits to lessen the shock and risk of bolting. I have never had a problem. Older dogs do so well this way. My older dogs are here a long time, so they only know us after showing.

Sharing the full trashcan of fur.
