If I’ve ever groomed your pup, there’s a good chance I left behind a bag that looked a little like this one 😅

It’s always fun to see kids’ reactions when they realize just how much hair comes off their pets — the ideas they come up with to reuse it are endlessly entertaining 🤭

One of my clients recently found an especially thoughtful use for it: they’ve been saving their pet’s hair to fill planter pots, providing cozy insulation for their outdoor cats this winter. Such a clever and heartwarming way to put all that fluff to good use! ❄️🐾

Rescue and rehomed pets often carry a little extra worry when life changes, and Sammy is still learning that he’s finally home for good. 🏡 🫶🏼
His parents wanted his first groom to be calm and comforting, so they called me to come to them—right where he feels safest, with mom & dad nearby.

Sometimes the biggest win is just a paw trim 🐾

When Abner’s mom first reached out, she shared that he’s had some really tough grooming experiences in the past. Because of that, he was extremely fearful and anxious. His front legs were completely off-limits, even with scissors, and the sound of clippers or any quick movements left him terrified.

Instead of pushing through his fears, we worked together. We took it slow. When he said “no,” I listened and moved on to something else he was more comfortable with. Little by little, Abner realized I wasn’t like the groomers he’d known before—I was here to listen, not force.

This is why I do what I do. Not for myself, but for the pets and their parents. My greatest joy is helping pets build happier, healthier relationships with grooming.

The best part? Abner trusted me enough to let me trim his front legs and feet—something his family said they’ve never been able to see done before.

So proud of Abner and thankful he has a wonderful family who cares 🫶🏼
