I made a new friend today and I can’t wait to see him again!🥹

Drago(perfectly named) is a very special boy who needed a gentle hand to get all his uncomfortable mats off. This little guy has some severe grooming anxiety, as well as trachea issues and a mild heart murmur. We had to ensure this service was safe, calm, and at his pace.✨

This wasn’t your regular groom. Drago isn’t winning any ribbons anytime soon. It took longer - we took breaks and we ate lunch together. He was in the comfort of his backyard and was welcome to get down and run around whenever he met his threshold.

But this little guy made it. Despite it all; his tight mats, his fear, his “issues” - underneath was a sweet, happy, comfortable little boy. 🥰

I’m not saying I can groom every dog. But every dog deserves a chance. Drago has the potential to one day love his grooming experience and most importantly - trust his groomer.💕

Great job today, little buddy. See you next time!🐾

I got to visit two of my bestest friends today, Darcy Moon and her friend Riley!!🥰

These two were so excited to see me - Darcy had to show me ALL her toys and Riley had to…be Riley. 🤣🤷‍♀️

This was so much fun for everyone! No grooms today, just a play date full of treats, kisses and cuddles. This is how I build my relationship with your pet. Your dog is my dog now and they’re in good hands.💕

I’ll see these two next month for their makeovers! We can’t wait!☺️

Baby bath time!🥰

My sweet little Tarot is almost 8 weeks old and getting used to the wonderful world of grooming! This beautiful girl has a gorgeous coat and will likely need lots of maintenance like her mama.

She did great today! I’m so proud of her! Who would have thought 2 weeks ago she was feral?🫣🐾

This little girl was a very brave baby for her haircut. I know that in-home grooming can take some getting used to, but she has sooo much potential!🥰

She even had her favorite kitty friend nearby the whole time for support. We love friendship!💕🥹

Horray for teamwork!! Hi Griffey!!🥰

My good friend Chris O'Kelley needed some extra help with a groom today while recovering from a medical flare up. Of course, I was thrilled to come help as soon as possible.

With Chris’ words of encouragement, some Gouda cheese, and some calming dog music - this little guy was a rockstar!✨

I am so glad I was able to contribute to the grooming industry by helping another fear-free professional. Chris and I both prioritize comfort and safe handling practices above all else. We believe all dogs should feel safe and secure during their grooming experience - NO force, NO mishandling, NO “learned helplessness”. Just happy, comfortable pups.🥰

Another special thank you to Sophie's Dog Grooming for allowing me to help out today. And another shoutout to Keith at Whole Greens VA for trusting his sweet boy with me today! ✨

Sometimes stuff just hits the fan and you need to trust your community to come through.💕🥹

This is Scotty - a 16 year old schnauzer who wanted to try my services after being recommended by a close friend. We had an appointment scheduled for Saturday so we could go visit our friends at Pawsh Dog Wash to use their self wash. That day - my car decided it was not going to drive to Alexandria. 🥲

I have never met this client before. They have heard amazing things about me - and I have heard wonderful things about them! I called - and asked - if somehow, they would be willing to drive me with Scotty over to the salon.
What I didn’t realize - was I was about to make a forever friend!💕
Scotty’s mom, Massena, is one of the kindest individuals I’ve ever encountered. We spent over 2 hours in her car together without a second thought. And best of all - I was able to give Scotty the service he deserved.

in Alexandria for always being so accommodating for my special friends!
And another shoutout to Va**ng Delights for allowing me to take great care of their Scotty.
