Join us for another one of our free songwriting workshops presented by .dead.live with the opportunity to perform and record your song!

Workshop signups at 6:45PM.

BYO instrument(s) and creativity!

PS. Even if you are not interested in participating in the workshop, this will be a fun, free event where you, as an audience member, will have the opportunity to watch a musician’s creative journey from inception to performance!

Learn a new game from local Game Master Michael Suthers, and stay to play!

Games will be provided. Free and all ages!

Signups and gameplay held at the pews. One game instruction per hour - first come first served.

The fundraiser works like this: BARCS will be bringing a plethora of poorly drawn pet portraits that are all available for purchase! Make a donation of any amount, and take home a piece of hilariously imperfect art.

All donations received go straight to BARCS! By supporting the cause, you are directly helping to fund BARCS mission and the many creatures in their care. Talk about puppy love

Y’all heard that right! Some new beers are joining the menu soon ;)

To start off, we have our Hefeweizen, Heller Tag. A unique blend of traditional German wheat and and English ale yeast to give a robust flavor and color. Easy like a Sunday morning at only 4.2% ABV ☀️

Next is a brand new Hazy, Bop Gun! A little story about this beer from our brew master, “When I was brewing this beer, I didn’t have a name or a clear concept. I was just in a groove. I happened to be listening to alot of George Clinton & Parlement Funkadelic that day. This beer is totally a summer crusher. I used eukanot hops for a little bite and the ever-so classic blend of Citra and Moasic for its juicy taste. The three give it one funky fun aroma. And at just 6% ABV, you can have alot of them!”

Can’t wait for y’all to try! More details on release dates coming soon! 🍻

We are thrilled to announce the opening of three month long art show in our taproom!

One of our favorite features of The Sandbox is its fluidity - so the art currently on our walls will be coming down to make room for this new taproom era!

The show features - a local, sustainable, family run flower farm.

All art will be available for purchase at any point during its three month residency, and 50% of the profits will go to expanding a food health pilot program with and the Frederick County Judy Center.

Casual opening on Sunday, June 22nd from 6-8PM. Show runs from 6/22-9/22.
