2027 Eastern Regional Taxidermy Competition & Convention/Workshop

Get ready for an exciting new chapter at the 2027 Eastern Regional Taxidermy Competition & Convention/Workshop!

We’re thrilled to announce that all of our 2026 judges have committed to returning for 2027. While we’ll still feature the competition and awards you know and love, we’re introducing a fresh new format with an even greater focus on education, hands-on learning, and sharing knowledge among taxidermists of all skill levels.

We’re working on some exciting additions and special opportunities that will make this our most engaging event yet. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, learn new techniques, network with fellow taxidermists, or showcase your work, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

We’re targeting late March to early April 2027 and will be hosting the event at a new location.

Big announcements and more details are coming soon—stay tuned! The 2027 Eastern Regional is shaping up to be our best event yet.

The Maryland Taxidermists Association Officers and Board Members would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the Judges, Seminar Instructors and Competitors who helped make the 2026 Eastern Regional one of the largest and most successful shows we have ever hosted. We were proud to offer a series of outstanding seminars, and we believe they provided valuable learning opportunities for everyone who attended.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our vendors for their continued support and for providing the products
and expertise that help make this event such a valuable experience for everyone involved.

The only rule for the Mounting Competition is that the form must be glued and specimen slid on at the contest.

There will be 1st & 2nd & 3rd place medallions for Eastern Regional champions, and State champions!! That’s right first second third in each categories. They will come with camo lanyards
