Friends For Life Cat Rescue

We rescue cats and kittens from difficult situations and make it possible for them to find a forever loving home. Some are with us for weeks, others for years.

Friends For Life cats are cared for in foster homes until their adoption. It is our goal to place cats as quickly as possible into a loving family. Unfortunately, because some animals are scared, stressed, older, or may not do well at open houses or in cages, they may live the rest of their lives in foster care or in a shelter environment. We believe that we have a lifelong obligation to every animal that enters our rescue and we care for each pet as if it were our own..

Don’t forget! We’ll be at Petco tomorrow with a selection of adorable cats and kittens. Come meet Thelma & Louise, Daisy, and Allen. They are all wonderful companions and looking for their happily furrever after.

Saturday we’ll be at the North Frederick PetSmart from 11:30-2:30.
Sunday we’ll be at Petco from 11-2.

Lucky had been feeling jinxed
When fated stepped in and winked.
See she’d been watching his life
And was sad for the strife.
Fate knew he deserved more,
Like a home where he’d be adored.
So she directed a post
To those who could help him the most.
A Good Samaritan stepped in
So his new life could begin.
He was brought to the vet
Making sure he’d be a healthy pet.
With a clean bill of health
We can’t keep him to ourselves.
This sweet playful guy
May start out timid and shy
But soon he warms up
And is ready for love.

UPDATE: Adopted

11 year old Polly is still looking for her furrever home. This super sweet lap cat is one of the best biscuit makers around. She’s been to the vet for a full check up, including senior bloodwork, and has a stellar bill of health. While she’d love to be your one and only, she can cohabitate with cats and canines with a calm demeanor. She was sadly surrendered when her family found out the baby was severely allergic to her. She is currently a resident of our Petco condos. Please let us know if you’d like to set up a private meet and greet with her.
