It has been almost two years since the rescue LARC did at the horrific fur farm in Ohio. Now look at this fluffy boy. He has a genetic mutation so guessing what he is will not be easy!! #

Someone recently called LARC looking for a wolfdog to raise with his newly purchased(🤬) wolfdog. He said that wolfdogs couldn’t live with dogs. (This video and my experience says otherwise). He also said he paid $4,000 for the wolfdog from a breeder (🤬) in North Carolina. Meanwhile LARC and many other wolf and wolfdog sanctuaries get calls everyday from people who have to give up their wolfdogs because they can’t handle them anymore. These animals WILL be euthanized at shelters due to their wolf content. We have to bring awareness up to the level we have for dogs. Adopt Don’t Shop plus reconsider a wolfdog/ they are NOT good pets.

What distinguishing mark on this animal makes it clear she is not a full wolf (even though you see her run off to chase the dogs)?

I’m very curious about something. When you hear this does it touch a place deep inside you? Do you resonate with this sound and feel for what the animals may be communicating? What I want to know is how you are capable of such a feeling of resonance and relationship while others want to immediately kill these wolves? What makes that difference? I’d like to study this. Hopefully understand better how we can change hearts and minds (and which comes first!).

Oh goodness!! UCLA did a story on me being a Bruin and my work starting animal sanctuaries that help both veterans and the animals they care for - Reciprocal Recovery I call it!
