As we close out this year, our hearts are full of gratitude. We are incredibly thankful for our students who stepped outside their comfort zones and into the ring, our boarders and friends who contribute so much to our barn community, and everyone who has supported us along the way.

This year brought immense growth, love, and joy—and with it, an even larger barn family. We are so excited for what lies ahead and can’t wait to see what the new year brings for each and every one of you.

Good chilly morning, everyone!

With the recent EHV-1 and EHM outbreaks reported in Texas and Oklahoma, we are putting temporary biosecurity measures in place for the next three weeks to keep our horses as safe as possible. Please read the following carefully:

• No outside visitors.
We know the holidays make this tricky with family in town, but we need to limit outside contact for now. If you have not already spoken with Dom or me to get approval for a visitor, please do not bring them to the barn.

• No trailering in or out.
This isn’t something that normally affects most folks, but for now we are pausing all trailering.

• Disinfect on arrival.
There is a bottle of chlorhexidine solution at the side door. Please spray yourself—including shoes and hair—when you come in.

• Hand sanitizer stations.
We will be hanging sanitizer around the barn. Please use it frequently, especially before and after handling your horse.

• Only handle your own horse.
Please do not pet, touch, or handle any horse other than your own.

• Vet and farrier visits.
Dom and I will be coordinating these carefully. Thankfully, we don’t have anything scheduled for a few weeks.

• Dentist visit is still on.
As long as no horses have a temperature, our dentist appointment next week will continue as planned. We will be purchasing additional thermometers and checking everyone to ensure all horses are clear.

Although our actual risk is fairly low, EHV can be carried on clothing, shoes, and hands, so these precautions are important to keep every horse here protected.

✨ What an incredible day at the barn! ✨
These young riders — many of whom only started riding a few months ago — showed amazing sportsmanship and courage as they entered the ring with their lesson horses! 🐴💪

From creative costumes to confident rides, every one of them impressed us with how much progress they’ve made. 🎃👏

We couldn’t be prouder of how they learned, grew, and had fun throughout our mock show — a perfect way to introduce them to the excitement of competition while celebrating their hard work and love for horses! ❤️🐎

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and to all those who helped us get set up and ready for this show! 🙏✨

Beautiful day for our mock show!

Way to go team Full Moon! We had another amazing day at the Latigo dressage show today! AJ Record kicked off the day on Tenacity (Ritzi) and had 2 amazing rides bringing home 2 3rd place ribbons with a 65.5 in intro 3 and 67.650 in intro 4! Next up was Vivi Shannon Garrison Negi with Boone. This was Boone’s first off site show and Vivi piloted him to 2 first place ribbons with a 62.5 in intro A and a 65.938 in intro B. Jocelyn finished out the day with beautiful rides on Liberty Belle(Belle). The brought home 2 1st with a 65.0 in training 1 and a 63.793 in training 2! Way to go everyone!

USEA and USEF Roll Out New and Improved Dressage Tests for 2026 Eventing Season
