This Veterans Day, we give thanks to all who have served and sacrificed for our country. Your dedication and courage protect the freedoms we value so much.
We would also like to give a special thank you to my dad, Gary, who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968–1972 and recently participated in a Stars & Stripes Honor Flight with his friend, Sharon, who served as a nurse during the Vietnam War. Their service continues to inspire us all.

This week is National School Counseling Week, and many of today's school counselors are working to promote the benefits of having therapy animals accessible to students and staff.

Some schools incorporate therapy dogs into their COVID recovery plans to address student mental health and classroom engagement.
