"Nic O Time", a beautiful registered Morgan is back with the rescue! He trailered like a champ and will be spending some time with Jamie LaRock, learning how to go under saddle. Thank you Jamie for your assistance trailering him today and thank you Marriah Propert for your excellent care over the last six years! He will be available for adoption! It takes a village to assist at risk horses.

We have a couple of stunning registered Saddlebreds available for adoption! The first is a 4 month weanling (registration is actually pending), he is a bay with 2 white pasterns and a star. He needs work with haltering and leading and we are told he's very energetic, lots of zip. His adoption fee is $500.

The second is a yearling stud c**t, brown, although some might call him a seal bay, and his registered name is Beauty's Gunsmoke, Gunner for short. He wears a halter, and has had his front feet trimmed, some grooming, but no leading or other ground work. He will be gelded prior to placement. We are told he's a very pleasant horse to deal with, a bit fearful at first, but he learns very quickly. His adoption fee is $1500.

Please contact Pam Brace Merrick for any additional information regarding these horses. Will go under our rescue contract and an application is required! It takes a village!

‼️ 🚨 This situation has become URGENT!!! ‼️ 🚨

🚨 ‼️ Friends - rescue friends - everyone I know! I was made aware of a dog in need. Pumpkin lives in this crate most of the time. (No judgement please - some of the people in her life are trying to do the very best they can) she is not technically allowed in the home where she is living. There was an attempt to surrender her to the city shelter yesterday, but there is no room. She needs to find help ASAP before she gets into the wrong hands or they simply let her go. There is a cat where she is living and she has been fine with the cat. Met other dogs at the shelter yesterday and seemed fine but does not currently live with a dog. HELP!!

In the mountainous regions of Italy—particularly Sardinia and the Alps—shepherds follow a time-honored tradition during grazing season: using donkeys to carry newborn lambs down steep, rugged terrain!
Too young and fragile to manage the long journey on foot, the lambs are carefully placed in padded baskets or sacks draped over the donkeys’ backs. This gentle method not only protects the lambs from exhaustion and injury, but also ensures the flock stays together as it moves through the challenging landscape.
