A emotional day at the barn today, for sure. Mario has been part of for the past 3.5 years and today he headed to VA to his last, forever home with good people who know him and love him.

Congratulations 🎉 to Beth Jones and family on the purchase of Mario-Kart. We will certainly miss him but know he is in great hands.

🤎 BIRDIE / FIRST CLASS - 6yr old, 17 hand imported warmblood gelding. If you are looking to get noticed in the ring, this one certainly makes a statement. He will excel in the hunters, equitation and derbies. Stall to ring, brave, auto change, safe, kind, will happily take a mistake like nothing happened, hacks out alone and is already showing with a AA in the 2’6” with ability to quickly move up. Suited now for a kid or adult, NO HOLES. Doesn’t ride big and has all the Flatwork buttons. A GOOD boy inside and outside the ring. Although young, he is wise beyond his years and is a huge confidence boost for a timid kid or adult.

Franco is an 9 year old imported KWPN gelding, 16.2 1/2 hands. He is handsome, knows his job, very sweet, safe & comfortable + very tolerant of mistakes and will always try to get you to the other side. Super fun guy to do a eq course on. Uphill ride. He doesn’t care where he is, extremely well traveled, has shown at Brownland, Wellington, WEC Ocala, Tryon and at the Texas Rose Horse Park. Suitable from the 2’ and up, has shown up to 3’3” in the 15 and under Junior Hunters and even packed around the short stirrup. He is happy to do any job and ALL RINGS, versatile horse, has easy changes and requires basic prep at shows! Very large pony like! Personable + pleasant in the barn & everyone who sits on him, loves him!

So easy to get to the ring and loves to horse show, stall to ring. 13yr old, 16.1 well bred and registered QH mare. Miles in all 3 rings. CONFIDENCE boost for a kid or adult who likes a forward ride and mares. Lovely trot movement, lead changes, and will jump from anywhere, every single time. Will happily hack out and trail ride + hunter paces. Would suit a spunky kid or adult that likes to go.

Congratulations to the new owners of Sampson!

He is headed to beautiful green pastures in Virginia next week to his new mom where he will get to do all things Sampson loves.

We hate to see him go but I know he landed a wonderful home that will love him and enjoy him.

Annie, thank you for trusting me to care and ride Sampson the last 1.5 years and to also find his perfect new home. A bittersweet day for sure.

We love to horse show but happy to be home after a great week at Brownland!

Enjoy a few highlights:

Liam and Marcella Dhority’s GRACED jumped to 🥇and 🥈 in the 3 foot greens with other top ribbons in the division, 7th in $10,000 Brownland Derby with Molly in the irons and was Reserve Champion with Liam in the USHJA 2 foot and the Long stirrup at their first show together!

CRA Equestrian’s RETOUCHED made his 3 foot green debut proving to be everything we know he is with good ribbons in every class including a 🥉out of a competitive group. Thank you Molly for the great rides on him. Anna Wilson piloted him in the USHJA 2’6” and the 2’6” low adults with many ribbons including a 🥈🥉🥉 and 🥉in the all day warmup out of 23. We are thrilled with him and so proud of AK.

Marcella Dhority and CZECHMATE won ALL of their classes in the USHJA 2’3” out of 10 and were Champion 🥇🥇🥇 and had top ribbons in the 2’6” low adults including a 🥈in the hack.

Congratulations to all 🎉 I am so proud of our team.

ALL FIRSTS this weekend… as in First horse show for Lilo, first horse show for Birdie in the states (and first horse show for Annakate at ATB), first horse show for Slayden, first over fences horse show for Jojo and Ellie and first show as assistsnt trainer for Kendall.

We won some, we lost some, we learned, we did the things but most importantly - we had fun 🎉

I am incredibly grateful that i get to teach this group of . They keep me on my toes. I am so proud of all of you!

Enjoy a few highlighlights:

- Jojo Strandberg and Shez W***y Chexy / Champion 🥇 both days in the long stirrup. No one knows where we started with these two and to watch all the hard work be rewarded will forever make my heart happy.

- Annakate Wilson and First Class / 🔝 ribbons all weekend in the modified 2’6” at (Birdie’s) first show in the states and 3rd in the hunter derby. This horse is a gem and for sale. 🥈🥈in the EQ and SO proud, something we have been working on the last few weeks.

- Slayden Oates and Miss Behavin’ / Champion 🥇 Green rider day two with great ribbons all weekend. It’s hard being 8 and even harder to tackle your first horse show. Slayden rode GREAT and I am so proud of her.

- Kendall Darks and Stormy Moon / Reserve Champion 🥈day two. I gave Kendall the hardest ride at her first horse show as a pro (oops) and she tackled it with grace, patience, a voice and a soft hand. Sky is the limit for you, Kendall.

🩵 RETOUCHED - Quality young hunter/eq horse suitable & easy enough for a junior or AA in a program (seen below jumping with a junior second time riding him). Lovely 6 year old, 16.3 gelding by Untouchable.

Shown in the baby greens and ready to step into the 3 foot. Plenty of scope for the 3’6”. Huge step, safe + doesn’t hold a grudge, good lead changes, packer mentality, all of the chrome & a brain + manners that you can’t put a price tag on. Same guy everyday. SO EASY to live with. Easy to get to the ring & doesn’t care at all about his environment inside or outside of the arena. Old soul, wants to please & do right. This is a lovely young hunter/eq horse that will be competitive at any venue. Started slowly & correctly. Fantastic horse who i know will go and do wonderful things.

- 10yr old, 16.2 warmblood gelding. Can do the hunters, equitation and jumper ring + is currently showing first level dressage. Safe, honest, handsome and uphill. Perfect choice for a teen or adult looking for a confidence boost. Great 2’6” horse with ability to move up. Available for paid yearly lease. Must stay at our barn and in our program.

- 14yr old, 16.3 warmblood mare. 1.30 horse turned hunter. She enjoys the 2 foot to 2’6” hunter job. Comfortable, kind and very fun to jump, auto changes. Would suit an intermediate youth or adult. Available for 1/2 or full in barn lease. Monthly lease price includes lessons. 6 month commitment required.
