We all love corgis, so why not a beagle mix too ?!
Simba is a 7 year old approx 45 lb Beagle mix. He is a very sweet boy who is looking for his person who he can devote all his attention to when they are with him. He does need to be at a home with another dog and a fenced yard. He is looking for a home because his owner moved into a condo and he has had some difficulty with the change to not having any brothers or sisters around- he is used to a fenced yard and lots of other dogs coming and going (his mom used to foster). He is a good boy and just wants someone to love him- he is low energy at home- he is happy to lay around and sleep all day. He likes to go outside and sniff around and loves car rides/outings. He can go off leash at times- once he is used to an area and understands his boundaries- but he can often forget. He is potty trained- does well at home or when on walks. He is treat motivated and does some tricks- sit, lay, kiss, roll over. Loves kids- but can be intimidated by toddlers. Has been around cats- he is interested in them and doesn’t know what to think - doesn’t try to hurt them.
