Would you believe when I first started grooming Ajax back in July, he was terrified of the bath? Barking, snapping, biting, jumping…you name it. I could barely even look at him without a meltdown.

Now look at this big guy… soaking it all in. 🛁 He drags me to the tub and walks right up the ramp to sit down.

🐾 PATIENCE is what you want in your pet groomer.

🐾 UNDERSTANDING is what your pet groomer needs to recognize that you may not know your pet’s past or the experiences shaping their fears.

🐾 TRANSPARENCY is what builds trust with owners because this progress doesn’t happen in a day.

It took weeks of incomplete baths, skipped blow dries, and passing on nail trims to get Ajax comfortable enough to finally relax here. The rest will come in time.

What matters most? Ajax is finally RELAXING… happy, clean, and learning to trust again. ❤️

🚗🐾🍩 Huge thanks to Dunn’s Tire Service for stopping by this morning! Not only did they drop off their pups for a fresh groom, but they also dropped off Central Pastry donuts for us (pretty sure that’s the fastest way to get VIP treatment around here).

Their dogs are getting rotated, balanced, and detailed ✂️🐶 while we’re getting glazed 🍩.

Supporting local never tasted (or smelled) so good! Thanks for keeping the whole community rolling smooth, Dunns!
