9 month old Grizz exhibited poor etiquette when greeting people and other dogs. His persistence was wearing on his 8 year old older sister, Mable. Last night, mom and dad learned how quickly excessive mouthing, barking and jumping can go away, once you get right with your dog. Grizz found a lot of calm and peace. Mable was thankful for her little troublemaker brothers new outlook on life.

This sweet boy has suffered terribly from seperation anxiety. Yesterday, his mom learned how he got there and how to turn it around quickly. I am happy for them both because seperation anxiety would be a terrible thing for a dog to endure and for moms furniture.

Looking at these two sweet faces, you would think they got along great. Well they have had some moments most unsettling for their family to witness. The humans in the house learned how to not only abate the high energy jumping on people, crazy behaviors greeting people at the door, unruliness towards other dogs on leash, but they learned how to bring peace between the two of them. By the time I left, they were spooning with each other on the floor. "Calm Will Come".

It's funny how often I get called in to help one dog, "the problem child" (Georgia in the picture) and it's the "little angel", who presents the bigger challenge. Georgia's mom and dad contacted me to abate her very short temper with her brother Timmy. Both dogs are great, as long as mom and dad continue to recognize the underlying issues and tweak their own behaviors to maintain peaceful obedience.

Got a call involving a dog with several issues: fighting, unruliness at the door AND a desire to bite women in the rear end with large buttocks. The session was this afternoon. The dog owner gets it and will do great with her "butt nibbling mutt".

Our H***h was diagnosed with bone cancer. The tumor grew rapidly over the last month, causing him increasing pain. Yesterday Kathy and I had to make a difficult decision for him. Missing him is an understatement. H***h had a huge presence in our home and hearts. His start in life was horrific and he carried the scars for years. But his inherent loving nature prevailed. Over time, H***h morphed into such a giant lovable affectionate and loyal member of the family. It is heart wrenching that as he found great peace in this world he had to move on. Without him, there is a big void in our home as we are and will continue to miss him terribly.
