Just received word that Silas crossed over this morning. He has been coming here for several years and just like all of our pups, he was a part of our family and we will miss him so much. He had been diagnosed with cancer and was able to pass peacefully at home with his family.
We love you Silas!

This is a hard one. Roxy has been coming to us for years, and like all of our regulars, she was very much a part of our family.
She has been aging rapidly in the last few months. She had a rapid decline and passed last Sunday night.
We are heartbroken and I still haven’t worked up the courage to tell Caleb. He takes the losses really hard and cried for over a month after Luna passed.
As you can see Roxy and Caleb were best buddies and had lots of cuddles. Roxy was with us the day before she passed and we could tell that it was her last time with us, but it still happened quite fast. She was a Queeen for sure and she was a fierce protector of Caleb, she started a couple of spats with Bentley because she thought he was bothering Caleb.
She will be greatly missed and we will never forget her.

Happy Easter! Spring is here and we are loving the sunshine!!

We are very saddened to share about Luna’s passing.
She was about 15 years old and has been showing signs of her age and acting a bit off lately, but nothing to suggest that she was nearing the end.
He parents dropped her off yesterday and she was happy to arrive and ran to the door and inside to see her human and dog friends.
She laid around in Jim’s bed all day and ate her dinner. She got sick around 7 and was just acting off. We got her in her chair to cuddle with Caleb and then Jim took her to bed about 9:30.

He woke me up at midnight and told me to get downstairs. It was apparent that she was near the end. I got her mom on the phone and she spoke to her, Jim was holding her head and she she stared at me while she took her last breaths.
It was very sudden and heartbreaking.
We have lost several of the dogs that we care for and we loved them all very much. This is especially hard because it happened in our home but she was surrounded by love when she passed.
We love you Luna!

Just received word that Brody has crossed over.
He was supposed to stay with us this weekend.
He had been coming to use for 1.5 years and we always enjoyed having him stay in our home.
We are all sad that he is gone but grateful that his family chose us to care for him when they needed us.
