Working with horses has the power to transform lives—not just in the arena or on the trail, but in every aspect of how we live, love, and lead.
At The Art Of The Horseman, our mission is heart-centered and deeply rooted in the belief that horses are profound teachers. They show us the importance of being present, grounded, and authentic. Through their quiet wisdom, they help us grow as individuals, improving our relationships, and inspiring us to show up better—not just for them, but for the people in our lives.
Since 1994, we’ve been privileged to learn from legendary mentors like Ray Hunt, Walter Zettl, and Buck Brannaman. Their lessons, combined with what we’ve learned directly from horses, have shaped our passion for helping humans and horses connect on a deeper level.
We believe that true progress isn’t about competition or titles. It’s about the feel and and a deep connection that can not be described but only felt. It’s about understanding the quiet language of horses and using that understanding to grow as compassionate, empathetic, and mindful human beings.
The lessons we learn from horses ripple out into the rest of our lives:
Patience teaches us to embrace challenges and setbacks with grace.
Presence reminds us to focus on what truly matters, moment by moment.
Partnership builds trust and mutual respect, essential in all relationships.
