Who is excited for next week!

35 lessons this week, and I can’t even begin to describe the excitement I have had with just the improvement from week to week. We have set some goals and made some plans with each lesson. Let’s get to work and have some fun!

What a great week of lessons! I didn’t get pictures, but we enjoyed the warm weather and the big arena! I believe we all learned something new, and gave set some new goals! I hope you all practice your homework til I see you next week!

Hey Guys Andrea here

As some of you know things are changing for the Lesson Program at Ohio Horse Park. As of March 7th 2025 I will no longer be instructing the riding lessons due to budget constraints and unforeseen circumstances, this however doesn’t mean lessons will be coming to a complete end. The plan moving forward is for the lesson horses to move into the main training barn, and Aubrey will be taking over the scheduling and instruction of lessons.

That being said, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the past 2.5 years i have been there as a group we have done great things.

Kids you have grown leaps and bounds working through so many emotions; whether it was climbing on a horse for the first, making the jump to another horse, opening up to make friends or coming together to process the death of our favorite guy Otis ❤️ I hope you all know how proud I am of you and hope you continue spending time in a barn and working on your horsemanship skills wherever that may be.

Parents thank you for trusting me to guide your children in this journey. In committing your children to a riding program you have done more than just simply putting them on a horse, you have opened a door for them to grow and learn so much more.

So In closing I would like to thank you all for pushing me to be a better instructor, better person, and making some great memories along the way. I will say this endeavor has taught me many things that I will not soon forget.
