We (Barbara's Pet Care Services) will not be accepting any NEW clients after May 2026. If you are a current or past client, this will NOT affect your pets care!! If you want to be a client, act fast :)

We will continue to serve our current clients to the best of our ability as long as we are able and needed.

I've struggled with this decision for awhile now, but recent health concerns made my mind up. We are only here for a little while and Ive worked since I was 11 years old.

I have helpers that want to continue to work, and they are very capable of doing it on their own. I will be glad to give referrals.

Tonight, I made a crucial business decision regarding our pet-sitting services. Rest assured that existing bookings for this winter remain secure. However, we will not be accepting new clients requiring visits after dark until daylight hours are longer. This decision prioritizes our safety and that of other drivers. We offer overnight sitters as an alternative. Current client emergencies will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Night blindness poses a significant risk.

I am aware of the written defamation that is going around. My attorney is attending to that and all other aspects of this matter.
I was willing to pay any medical bills from the end of June till August 1. None were produced. How do I know they even exist? The dog in question was being watched by one of my contractors, not even me.
My insurance company is like ALL others, they pay based on claims, not accusations.

I'm being bashed on FB, and it will be handled LEGALLY...

Anyone that knows me, knows animals are my heart. This is absurd.
