UPDATE: CHOCO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!

This week, we're doing something a little different and fun! We asked our staff to choose a dog or cat they particularly enjoy working with to highlight during our Staff Pick Week. Any pets selected will have their adoption fees waived this week, starting today through Sunday, July 20th. First, is our Animal Care Associate, Elvia, with our sweet three-year-old, Choco ❤. Elvia talked about how sweet Choco is and how, despite weighing 82 pounds, she wants to be a "big ol' lapdog." Elvia mentioned how much she enjoys playing fetch with this sweet girl. Thank you, Elvia and Choco!

Starting today, this dog-friendly girl will have her adoption fee waived during Staff Pick Week (ALL standard adoption procedures apply). Adoption fees for pets at our shelter will continue to be waived for Cook County residents thanks to the Paw-Some Pets Project! We will be sharing these Staff Pick Week stories throughout the week, so stay tuned ❤.
