Frown has laid the foundation for sac #4. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow once she's done building her nest. Frown was paired to Rocky Horror back in November. Frown has only had 1 sac hatch so far (clutch #2) and it was very tiny compared to my other girls.

My T vagans sling decided to make an appearance after several weeks and a molt. It actually popped out from under a leaf to nab the mealworm. I was super excited to see it isn't a brown sling anymore too! I got this sling around Christmas and it was about 1/8 inch, so it's growing at a nice rate!

My new Eresus moravicus and walckenaeri both have their webs where I can see them! They are the size of an i5 regal so they are a nice size. One has two molts in his home! The illustris is well hidden though and also the teeniest of the three.

NARBC did not disappoint today! Panama (Gold Banded Sunburst Dwarf), and three Eresus (Illustris, walckenaeri, moravicus). I'll get some better pics once they are all set up!

I have been reading posts where people are worried their adult spiders are drowning in water droplets. Regals are from Florida...it rains a lot there, and it is not a gentle mist. There are adaptations spiders have to avoid drowning. Your juvenile or adult spider will not drown in the drops on the side of the tank even if they walk through it. The exception is that tiny slings can literally get stuck in large water droplets because the surface tension of the water is too strong for them.
