The videos my clients get of their horses and I are always so random but I absolutely love spending time with the babies that arnt my babies (but so are.)🖤
Rico and his Bestfriend.
Captain has been so much fun the last couple of sessions. Hes so willing and beyond easy going!
Standing “tied” while being tacked up for the 5th time like a big boy should.
Henry and I are both pooped after asking him to canter under-saddle the first time. Hands down one of the most stubborn and so predictably unpredictable horses i work with but the goods are so rewarding!
“Your horses are remarkably calm!”
Yes, and here’s why.
Exposure fosters confidence, and confidence yields quiet behavior. If your horse is easily startled, it’s likely due to a lack of confidence, triggering a natural flight response.
Proper exposure and desensitization cultivate stability, confidence, and trust in the rider-horse relationship, while promoting healthy curiosity. (This is extremely beneficial.) When exposing and desensitizing, proceed in gradual steps. Flooding your horses is easily done, and once they reach that point, it’s challenging to regain their composure. Ensure you address each item systematically and take breaks every couple of minutes or when they’re standing quietly, licking & chewing, or displaying curiosity.
Id say Birdie girl was not thrilled about her Monday afternoon workout.

Sunshine and her toe flicks starting off the morning spicy 🌶️.
Always a fun day when it’s spent with Ashleigh Roberds and her gals!
I just love ending every Friday between Ms. Skyes ears. 🖤
Often I get asked why my horses are so quiet.. and it’s simply because we don’t tiptoe around them.
They’re exposed to machinery, vehicles, a mud truck and anything else you can think of on a almost daily biases.
Tiptoeing around your animals solves nothing and almost always causes more issues than not.
