Took my farm cats/kittens to be spayed and neutered Saturday. Unbeknownst to me if your cats are strictly outside cats the vets tip their left ear when they get spayed and vaccinated. So when I see my female cat I freaked out like wth happened to her ear. My daughter picked them up so it wasn’t until I got home and went to check on them I saw it. So I called my vet and she explained that they tip their left ear because if animal control sees them they’ll know they are spayed or neutered and vaccinated and usually just leave them alone. Learn something new everyday.

Wanted to share how when you have a farm and livestock it’s not always rainbows and butterflies. It’s constant work and money to make sure you do the best you can by your animals. It’s not “oh you get those “free” eggs lol.

This is Creed one of my livestock guardian dogs. He’s an Anatolian Shepard and only 16 months old so he’s still growing. I don’t think a coyote stands a chance against this big boy!!!! He loves his goats and is a great guardian. He’s my gentle giant!!!!
