🚧 MAJOR DEVELOPMENT AT FOUR OAKS FIRE STATION 2! 🚧

We are thrilled to announce that construction is officially underway on our new, state-of-the-art training tower at Station 2! This structure is being built entirely from repurposed shipping containers (Conex boxes). 🚒

This project is a massive accomplishment for the Four Oaks Fire Department! Why?
✅ It keeps our staff in our fire district for critical facility training.
✅ It integrates dozens of different training scenarios all into one versatile structure.

Once completed, this multi-story tower will allow our crews to train on-site for:
🏠 Residential & Commercial Fire Attack
🆘 Advanced Search & Rescue Operations
🪜 Ground & Aerial Ladder Placement
🛑 Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) Exercises
⚙️ Technical Rescue (including High-Angle and Confined Space)
🚪 Forcible Entry Scenarios

Having this level of training available at our own station ensures our firefighters are better prepared, more proficient, and always ready to serve the community.

Yesterday, C Shift took full advantage of the beautiful weather to get some hands-on time with our new gear! ☀️🚒

The crew spent the day training with our new Holmatro OmniShore set, putting the equipment through its paces. Training focused on:
✅ Tripod Systems – Refining our technical rescue setups.

Constant training with our latest tools ensures that when the call comes, we’re ready to provide the highest level of service to our community. Great work, C Shift! 💪🔥

Our first 2026 addition to the FOFD family!! Congratulations to Firefighter Haden Androlowicz and wife Taylor on the birth of their beautiful baby boy. Myles Ray was born Sunday, February 8, 2026.

We would like to introduce our three new full-time Captains: Brandon Raynor, Cameron Kirsch, and Matthew Kearney. Cameron and Matthew are newly promoted while Brandon transitioned from a volunteer Captain to a full-time Captain. Congratulations guys!!!

Santa came early this year!!! The restoration of our 1950 Ward LaFrance engine is finally completed!! It was a pretty extensive and lengthy process, but well worth it. Although we still have a few accessorices to add, the fully functioning engine was delivered to Station 2 yesterday afternoon. We appreciate everyone who helped us preserve some of the history and tradition of the department and community.
