Happy Monday! As of this morning, we are still currently operating, per Governor Polis’s press conference yesterday noting that animal care is essential. This could, of course, change at a moment’s notice as COVID-19 is spreading quickly. This does change how we interact on an otherwise normal business day.
If you are not feeling well, or self isolating, please stay home. If you need curbside, please let us know and we will come outside to you. PICKUP AND DROP OFF ARE AVAILBLE! Please let me know if you need this service!
Our business volume will be affected, so we are moving to APPOINTMENTS ONLY. No walk-in traffic and one customer in the lobby at this time. Please make an appointment, even for nail trims. I have a lot of clients who pop in to book, chat, say hello, and check on us, and I love you all, but the door will be locked except to allow appointments in only.
Leashes, collars, harnesses, etc must be removed by you upon entry. Some are finding this is not as easy as it seems, especially at pick up when pets are most excited.Please keep your pet safe and do not remove items until safely contained. Keep it simple. We use slip leashes. 😉
Please plan to pick up promptly, within 45 minutes of completion. Groom times are significantly faster if we are not busy. If you need additional time, please let me know when you book your appointment to avoid a late pick up fee.
I am set up to take card payments by phone, PayPal or Cashapp payment methods in addition to regular payment methods. Checks require pre- approval.

As we are all aware, we must all do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19. My Mutt Makeovers operates under the current regulation of the Colorado Dept. Of Agriculture’s Pet Animal Care Facility Act, which mandates the safety and sanitation needs for all animals in our care.
In a conscious effort to further protect our clients, we will be focusing on more common areas, specifically, our entrance lobby, door handles, counter, card processor, writing utensils, etc.
We also ask that all gear (harnesses, leashes, collars) be removed by owners at drop off to limit our handling of these items. We will temporarily discontinue applying finishing (bows/bandanas) until a later date.
We are happy to provide curbside assistance for both dropoff and pickup, to anyone who would prefer not to enter. Just call when you arrive and give us a few extra minutes to come to you.
These are small steps and minor inconveniences, and they will cause some delay. Thank you all in advance for your patience and understanding. Stay safe and healthy. We’re all in this together. 😊❤️🐾

We all know how fun it is to play in water and jump puddles, and we have had a LOT of rain this summer! Please be careful! This rain water can be toxic!! Locally, we have seen that Prospect Lake is currently closed due to toxicity caused by algae and fungal growth which can be deadly. There have also been dogs here in Fountain who have gotten sick from standing water at Metcalf Park.😢 Please be aware of your pup’s surrounding, even in your own back yard where stagnant rain water can collect and cause serious bacterial intestinal issues!
