Thank you for following Posh Pet Resort! I’m truly excited to provide private quality pet care for your fur babies! Just to give a little background of myself - I worked at a local vets office for many years doing reception work, vet assistant/tech, weekend animal medical treatments, vaccine clinics, medical injections, fluids etc… during this time I started doing large & small animal rescue. I’ve owned my own rescue for over 15 years and still continue to help trap Ferral cats in our area to spay/neuter. I work along the side a some amazing non profit animals rescues out of the area to pull Dogs from LA kill shelters. I pull dogs who are on the “kill list” (are not avail for adoption due to medical or behavioral reasons) then transport them here where they receive the vet care they need, are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and adopted into wonderful forever loving homes once they are ready.
I own my own farm - most are rescues and include: Horses, mini horses, mini cows, ducks, chickens, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, 150 pound tortoise and more! I am also a owner of a local Supportive Living agency here in Humboldt where I provide amazing staff to do in home assistance/care for special needs adults.
I am a huge advocate for those without a voice! I find myself most at peace when I’m surrounded by animals ❤️.
Posh Pet is located in Fortuna on a beautiful private farm on the hill that overlooks the town. Fully fenced and gated everyone is safe here. We have 2 active Livestock Gusrdian dogs who patrol at night to keep all predators away from all the animal Residents. We have surveillance cameras throughout the property that also allows us to know who’s coming & going.
Posh Pet Resort will provide Small dog (animal) boarding. Trying to offer boarding for dogs UNDER 35 pounds or less. My home is 6300 sq feet which has so much room to run and play especially for the littles who get along with others. My newly renovated boarding room has 8 kennels total. Singles are 48x48 & doubles are 48x96. The room can be heated by wood heat or forced air. You let will be housed in a HOUSE and not a concrete slab chain link kennel like most boarding facilities. There is room for indoor play w/ access to a huge fully fenced yard though the doggy door & someone here 24/7!
▪️Boarding Requirements ▪️
• All dogs must enter properly in a kennel or on a leash.
• Must provide proof (print out) of the following vaccines:
- Parvo combo (at least 2 series completed)
- Bordetella (Kennel cough)
- Rabies
• Must provide all food (wet &/or dry)
Optional:
• Treats
• Personal toys
• Bed
• Blanket
You will be required to leave the following
Info:
• Your vets/pets info
• Emergency contact info
• Address/all contacts
• Pick up date (this can be altered)
• Sign a release

1-35 pound $60/day
* Drop off before 1p is a full day ($60)
* Drop off after 1p is 1/2 day ($30)
*Will consider dogs up to 50 pounds if they are quiet/calm.
▪️ Kitten/Cat boarding Rates
$30 per day
*Drop off before 1pm is full day ($30)
* Drop off after 1p is 1/2 day ($20)

Horses, small dogs (indoor), rabbits, ferrets, birds, rodents, cats, snakes. Must inquire boarding costs.

• There are no extra fees for administering medications or extra play time!
