Adventures in Riding With Miss Julie Adventures in Riding With MIss Julie is a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic riding f For 35+ years my mom Julie has been working with horses.

In the last 20 years she has been working as an instructor in dressage, western, eventing, and jumping. Years of experience have opened her eyes to the healing power of the bond created between horse and rider. Now, in 2017, she has a newly formed nonprofit with the goal of bringing equine therapy to those in need. Her mission is to develop programs to help persons with PTSD, ADHD/ADD, and foste

r children by teaching them to ride and benefit from the relationship with the animal. She is fully committed to this pursuit and has redesigned her business to make it a reality. Every dollar generated by her horseback riding lessons goes towards supporting the cause. Donations will go directly to adding scholarships for those in need, building an indoor riding facility (so not even rain sleet or snow can stop us), and paying for training specific to Equine Therapy for her instructors from Texas Tech’s Premier Equine Therapy facility.
