Dotson Dot's & Brother Link is a family run business, we offer boarding and digital creation at all times additionally on the weekends we offer doggie daycare, drop-in, dog park and dog walks. We want everyone to know when their dog(s) stays with us, we consider them part of our family. We currently only take one family dog at a time when they board or come over for doggie daycare. We do require a

meet & greet for all new clients and we will go over all the other requirements during the meet & greet. We accept most dogs as long as after the meet & greet both you as the pet parent and us as the pet sitter feel that it would be great fit. We understand that not everyone dog(s) will be a fit for our situation but we would love the oppuritinity to found out. We just need all male dogs to be fixed as we are in the dog breeding space as well.

We’re so happy to welcome back two of our favorite returning pups—Mando & Finn! 🐶✨

Mando first joined us in October 2024 and has since become a true part of our kennel family with 11 visits (and counting!) under his collar. Finn followed in March 2025 after a perfect “wooferral” from his brother Mando, and has quickly earned his way to Gold Level status with 8 visits so far! 🐾💛

It’s always a joy seeing these two walk through our doors—they settle in like they’ve never left.

☀️🐾 Texas Heat Is No Joke – Protect Your Pup from Heat Stroke! 🐾☀️

With temperatures climbing into the triple digits across Texas, it’s more important than ever to keep our four-legged family members safe from the dangers of extreme heat.

Unlike people, dogs can’t cool themselves efficiently. They primarily regulate their body temperature by panting and through their paw pads, which means they can overheat much faster than we do. Heat stroke can develop in just a matter of minutes and quickly become a life-threatening emergency.

🚨 Signs of Heat Stroke Include:
🐶 Excessive panting or difficulty breathing
💧 Thick drooling
😴 Weakness or lethargy
🚶 Staggering or loss of coordination
🤢 Vomiting or diarrhea
🌡️ Bright red or pale gums
😵 Collapse or seizures

If you notice any of these symptoms, move your dog to a cool, shaded area immediately, offer small amounts of cool (not ice-cold) water, wet them with cool water, and seek emergency veterinary care as soon as possible.

🌡️ Tips to Keep Your Dog Safe This Summer:

✅ Walk early in the morning or after sunset.
✅ Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water.
✅ Make sure your pup has access to shade or air conditioning.
✅ Never leave your dog in a parked vehicle—even for a minute.
✅ Test the pavement with the back of your hand for 7 seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.
✅ Limit strenuous exercise during the hottest parts of the day.
✅ Watch brachycephalic (short-nosed) breeds, puppies, senior dogs, and overweight dogs especially closely, as they’re at greater risk.

🐾 Remember: If it’s too hot for you, it’s probably too hot for your dog.
