🧬 We just received FeeBee’s Wisdom Panel genetic testing results, and we couldn’t be happier! 🧬
“WayMaker 5 Dollar Fine 4 Whining”

Not only did FeeBee test clear for every genetic disease and predisposition included in the Wisdom Panel screening, but her results also showed that she has higher-than-average genetic diversity for the breed. Why does that matter? Genetic diversity helps support overall health, vitality, immune function, and long-term breed sustainability. As preservation breeders, maintaining healthy genetic diversity is something we take very seriously, so seeing these results is incredibly rewarding.

And perhaps the best confirmation of all…

🎉 Her color question has officially been solved! 🎉

After much speculation and more than a few debates, FeeBee has been genetically confirmed as a Cinnamon Lynx Point! Her beautiful warm tones and developing markings had us guessing, but now we have the answer.

We’re so excited to watch this gorgeous girl continue to grow and mature. Between her wonderful temperament, her enthusiasm in the show ring, her excellent health testing results, and now her confirmed color, she continues to make us proud every day.

🎥🐾 Just in case anyone still thinks cats hate water… allow us to present Exhibit A: Macchiato.

A couple of summers ago, this constant curious boy decided that watching the pool from the sidelines was for amateurs.

While most cats are busy avoiding a single raindrop, Macchiato was out here living his best vacation life, proving once again that Oriental Shorthairs come with their own set of rules. 😹

Who else has a cat that completely ignores the “normal cat” handbook? 😂

California Update: Mission Accomplished. 😹💛

Our little “WayMaker Fighting Side of Me” has officially settled into her new life and, according to her family, has completely taken over the entire household.

Now lovingly known as Yuki, she’s running the show, supervising daily activities, claiming all the best spots in the house, and ensuring everyone understands that she is, in fact, the main character. 👑

Her family tells us they are absolutely obsessed with her—and honestly, we wouldn’t expect anything less. Yuki has the typical Oriental Siamese larger-than-life personality wrapped up in a tiny, beautiful package.

We love updates on our babies so much❣️

For everyone who saw yesterday’s video and thought Lily and Macchiato hated each other… here’s your fact check. 😂 There are approximately 437 cat beds in this house. Two cats in one hammock is apparently the law.

Breaking News: Historic footage has surfaced of Lily and Macchiato negotiating leadership positions within the WayMaker household. 📺
Terms discussed included:
• Ownership of the best sunbeam ☀️
• Priority access to treats 🍗
• Control of the prime nap locations 🛏️
• Determination of who was, in fact, the prettiest cat 😹
Despite the dramatic body language, flattened ears, swishing tails, and impressive wrestling techniques, no actual friendships were harmed during these negotiations.

The final agreement? They remained best friends and continued running the house together.

Cats: making everything look way more dramatic than it really is since forever.

Future veterinarian in the making. 🩺🐱 We love watching our grandchildren grow up alongside our cats. The patience, gentleness, and curiosity they learn from each other is something special. Judging by the seriousness of this checkup, I’d say our Oriental Shorthair girl is getting a clean bill of health… and maybe a shot 😆 ❤️

What a wonderful weekend at the Rosenberg TICA Cat Show!

A huge thank you to the incredible club, judges, stewards, and clerks who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the show such a success. These events simply wouldn’t happen without the countless hours of dedication from so many volunteers, and we appreciate every one of you.

It was also such a joy to reconnect with so many exhibitors and friends. Seeing our Southwest Region TICA family again was truly one of the highlights of the weekend.

We’re especially proud of FeeBee at her very first show! She absolutely loved being in the ring and showed us glimpses of the confidence and personality we know are waiting to bloom. We can’t wait to watch her mature, develop her attitude, and really show everyone what she’s capable of.

Ollie was his usual melted-chocolate self—completely unimpressed by the show scene. While we adore having him with us, this will likely be the last time we ask him to participate. Showing simply isn’t his thing, and he’d much rather be at home living his best spoiled life.

As for Miss Reese… let’s just say she may have missed the memo about achieving her hot girl summer body. A few extra curves might have influenced some of her placements this weekend, but she’ll always be beautiful in our eyes!

Overall, it was a fantastic event, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to spend the weekend doing what we love alongside our cats and our extended TICA family. Until next time!
