Winky love has come a long ways since she first came in. When she got there she was very skinny and scared. She has put on some weight and is coming out of her shell some. She is a sweet girl and honestly at a perfect age. She would make a great best friend for someone she just needs a chance. Can anyone please give that to her.

Y’all look how adorable this boy is. He was possibly hit by a car and in need of a place to heal. This boy is a little higher energy, but knows paw, and sit and is a sweet boy. Can anyone offer to foster or adopt and save this boys life?

Much worse than we expected! Sugar is currently at the vet unable to leave she has to stay the night her white blood cell count is over 40,000 😩😩🆘🆘 she has to have emergency surgery in the morning and a possible blood transfusion! IM SO SAD FOR THESE DOGS AND THE SEVERITY OF THEIR CONDITION!!!

Fly high sweet girl! We tried! 😭🙏🏼

Still alive but still not safe! The shelter has extended her time until 12pm tomorrow Monday 4/21. We need a rescue! 😭🙏🏼

Zinna 58338208 - was hit by a car and has head trauma.

Medical notes -

This puppy (~8-10mo, 33 pounds) was not sedated for these x-rays hence the wonkiness of the skull x-rays.

This dog was just brought in as a possible HBC and is mostly alert. She has some amount of outward fear response but is overall possibly recovering from a shock state or similar. There are potential ruptured blood vessels in her sclerae, and she has some bloody crust around her nostrils. She did not cough or sneeze during our exam at any time. Her face is also swollen, especially around her muzzle and eye sockets. She is able to stand comfortably on all four legs and while she does have some minor lacerations and scrapes on her face, and some tire marks on her back end, she does not appear to have any injuries outwardly on the rest of her body. We will be monitoring her condition closely while awaiting veterinary diagnosis.

Vet notes -

Vet has advised that this dog is in severe enough condition to require immediate medical rescue with an end-of-day for Sunday, 4/20 deadline.

This dog has skull fracture with possible anisocoriaa and possibility of brain trauma. It is possible that she will experience brain swelling.

🚨 Medical Rescue/Foster Needed 🚨

This 3-month-old male pup (DOB: 12/21/2024), weighing 17.3 pounds, was attacked by another dog. A vet has not yet reviewed his x-rays.

He is neutered and currently housed at Chuck Silcox. This sweet pup needs a rescue commitment urgently for medical evaluation and treatment.
