Best friends come in all shapes and sizes… and sometimes they have four legs, questionable personal boundaries, and absolutely no idea what “personal space” means. 😂❤️

🐾 OUR BIGGEST SUMMER YET. 🐾

Okay, okay… we know we’ve been a little quiet on here lately. 😅 But we promise we have a VERY good excuse…

WE’VE BEEN PACKED. 😂🐶

This summer has officially been our **biggest summer yet**, and looking back at all these photos, I’m just incredibly grateful.

So many pups spent their summer here at the Ranch while their families vacationed, traveled, moved, handled home repairs, and everything in between. Some stayed for a day, some stayed for weeks (and a few practically moved in 😂), but every single one became part of the Pack.

To everyone who trusted me with your pups this summer THANK YOU. 💚 You’re the reason I get to do what I love every day, and I don’t take that trust for granted.

Now that summer is starting to wind down, we’re finally catching our breath and we’ve got some exciting things happening behind the scenes at Woof Pack Ranch. 👀

We can’t share everything *quite* yet, but we are VERY excited about what’s coming!

Here’s to our biggest summer yet and whatever comes next. 🥹🐶

🎇🎆 Howdy friends! This post is for those that have pups scared of the fireworks. This year is sure to be a BIG one as we all know. Here are my go-to things I do to help comfort and ease the fear for my pups.

1.) Use BROWN noise instead of white noise. Brown noise emphasizes lower frequencies and better masks the low booms of thunder/fireworks. When you use white noise it's a higher frequency therefore the lower booms stand out more.

2.) In combination with the previous tip, put on LOTR. No, I'm not kidding. The soundtrack and action scenes, again match and mask the sudden and random booms of thunder/fireworks. Plus with the movies 3hrs long you don't have to continuously change it.

3.) CBD or calming chews. My favorites are 'Calming Bites' from Zesty Paws or 'H**p Calming' by Pet Honesty. I have used both and they work really well. For dogs with severe anxiety please contact your vet for a sedative.

4.) Happy Hoodies help cover their ears and lessen the sounds. I put this one last because I personally haven't had the best results with these but several clients say they work great.

Combine all of these together and it can absolutely help ease your anxious pup's night. Remember to let your anxious pup's outside to the potty just before sunset. You want to limit outside time as much as possible during peak firework time. If a dog is outside during the fireworks they are more likely to bolt.

First off — THANK YOU. The support, referrals, trust, and love for the Pack means more to me than you all know.

At this time:
🐶 All daycare, boarding, and evaluation spots are full through June 3rd
📅 The next available evaluation appointment for new clients is Friday, June 5th

If you are a new client wanting to join the Pack, I highly recommend scheduling your evaluation ASAP as summer availability is filling incredibly fast.

Today we said goodbye to one of the original Pack members, Chip.

For the last 8 years, Chip has been part of the heart and history of Woof Pack Ranch. He was full of personality, sass, opinions, and so much love once you earned his trust. Dogs like Chip are exactly why Woof Pack Ranch was built, a place where every dog is understood, respected, and loved for who they are.

Chip helped shape me into the handler I am today and helped shape what this business would become. That is a legacy few dogs leave behind.

To Steve and Kathy, thank you for trusting us with Chip and Harley all these years. Y’all became family to us, and we are heartbroken alongside you.

Run free, sweet boy. Give Harley wet nose kisses for us. 💚
