We look forward to welcoming you for our FINAL EVENINGS OF WILD LIGHTS going until January 4th. Don’t miss out on this unique and magical holiday experience!

Have old Christmas lights you aren't sure what to do with? Recycle them at the Fort Wayne Zoo!

From now until January 23, 2026, we will be collecting used holiday lights to prevent them from ending up in the landfill. Last year, you all recycled and diverted more than 2,600 pounds of Christmas lights from the landfill! Let's see if we can collect even more this year.

Lights can be dropped off at our Guest Services building on weekdays through January 23 from 9am-4pm.

Santa Paws is coming to town 🎅🏼

No one is a bigger fan of frosty weather than red pandas! Native to cold, mountainous regions, this mammal has very dense fur covering its entire body. Even the bottoms of their paws are covered in fur for an extra layer of protection against ice and snow!

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the Canada lynx find it so delightful ❄️🎶

From their thick winter coats to their long legs Canada lynx are well-adapted for life in cold climates. The bottoms of their feet are even covered in furry pads, acting as built-in snowshoes useful when walking through the snowy terrain.
