These adorable pets are ready to clock out of the shelter and clock into your home.🏡 ❤️ We're running some paw-tastic adoption specials right now, so skip the usual weekend plans and stop by our shelter from 11am-4pm to find the purr-fect companion!

Meet Miss Baker! ✨ This precious 11-month-old Terrier mix is ready to bake her way into your heart! She is a little shy at first, but soon melts into your lap like a warm cookie.

Miss Baker is a precious, dainty little gal who is sure to become your new lap dog! Her best features include her wiry coat and love for attention.

Humane Fort Wayne is honored to partner with Beyond the Rainbow Bridge and Dr. Paula Neuman to offer a safe, compassionate space for anyone navigating the loss of a beloved pet.

✨September Spotlight: Karen G!✨

For many years, Karen has been helping animals throughout Fort Wayne and the surrounding communities, including with Humane Fort Wayne since 2024!

When Karen first started volunteering with us, she helped deliver working cats to their new homes. Today, she spends her time trapping Community Cats for our TNR program. Those early mornings spent trapping and transporting cats to spay/neuter appointments make a huge difference! Karen's dedication helps Community Cats live healthier, safer lives while also preventing future litters. 🐾

One of Karen's favorite volunteer memories? Delivering Kitten Grams last February and getting to see the recipients' faces light up as they spent time with adorable kittens! 🐱💕

Thank you, Karen, for your time, compassion, and commitment to the cats in our community. We're so grateful for you, and for all of our volunteers who help make our mission possible. 🩵
