Ginny is still looking for her furever home. She is about 8 weeks old, Feline Leukemia/FIV Negative, and has had her first deworming and vaccines. She will be due for her next vaccines around November 10 - 17. Please contact us at the clinic if you are interested.

This is a great idea if you have a reactive dog but still want to offer treats to the trick or treaters.

If your dog is upset by strangers, unusual looking costumes, noises or people ringing the doorbell, Halloween might be a bad day for your pup. Consider making a sign to hang on your door, and help keep your pup feeling safe.

Maybe leave a bowl of candy out for visitors or just keep your lights off.

As the holiday quickly approaches, it’s important to remember that several popular Halloween treats are considered toxic to pets. Some of these include:

🎃 Chocolate
🎃 Sugar-free candies or gum containing xylitol
🎃 Raisins (especially chocolate-covered)
🎃 Candy Corn
🎃 Caramel Apples
🎃 Macadamia Nuts

If you suspect your pet has ingested something toxic, contact our hospital right away at (260) 426-1062!

Come see us this weekend at the Treat Trail!

We are only a few days away from Halloween At the Park 2025!!!

We’ve spiced things up a bit so check out this handy map one of our awesome volunteers made!

Please be in the park by 8:30pm if you wish to participate in all festivities before they close at 9!

🅿️ PARKING UPDATE 🅿️
*Due to the construction on Old Lima we are unable to park at PLS like years past. We will be having parking in the park in addition to overflow parking at Huntertown Elementary

🚋 We will be having a shuttle that is running around the park to help alleviate large walking distances

🍭 Upon arrival to the park we ask anyone wanting to participate in the treat trail to make their way down to the east side of the park and line up on the side walk by the large tree (Christmas Tree). This will help the flow of traffic so we don’t have people trying to go both directions on the Treat Trail

👻 🛍️ If you are ONLY wanting to participate in the Forest of Fear and/or Night Market (Sat only) there will be a separate entrance that bypasses the Treat Trail. But again, this is ONLY for those NOT wanting to participate in the treat trail.

🛍️ Night market will be by the amphitheater on Saturday featuring 18 local vendors!

😱 Forest of Fear tickets are $5 per person and proceeds go to From this Day Forward. Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance of the Forest. Cash, card, and Venmo accepted!

🧙 Costume Contest: we will have mystery judges walking around throughout the entire event, checking out your cool costumes! If you receive a prize certificate, head over to the concession stand to get your prize!

🎃 Pumpkins: vote for your favorite pumpkins by bringing your dollars and spare change! We will have a QR code to accept online donations! The pumpkin that raises the most money for the park playground campaign wins!

The Creperie
Handel’s Ice Cream and Apple Dumplings
The Grind Coffee Truck
Lions Club Hot Dogs and chips -Friday only

🦅 Soarin' Hawk Raptor Rehab will be onsite with their large birds of prey! Friday 6 to 8.

🎶 GJK PRO will be cranking the tunes!
