No costume needed 👻
Throwback to Keziah serving full haunted house energy with nothing but a camera flash and those eyes.
That glow is eyeshine. Foxes have a reflective layer behind the eyes that bounces light back and helps them see in the dark. Great for night hunting, terrifying in photos.
Happy Halloween from the original spooky girl 🎃

Second crown of the day 🏴‍☠️
The photo likes crowned Count Enochula this morning, so he takes Most Popular. But the comment section picked a winner of its own.
Jack Sparrow takes the Comment Crown. The people who took the time to make their case earned a crown of their own.
Two winners, one very spoiled bat-eared fox.

Tanjiro is at it again 🧸

Clean toy day, and Tanjiro stole both toys. Both. One for now, one for later. Sharing never entered the chat.

Freshly washed toys are real enrichment, not just cute. New scents and textures give fox brains something to investigate, carry, and cache, and Tanjiro takes that job very seriously.

First the Goldfish, now the toys. The rap sheet is growing.

What would your pet steal two of? 👇

Meet Tanjiro 🦊

Caught in the act, and weirdly proud of it. Tanjiro is one of our silver morph red foxes, and yes, that is an entire bag of Goldfish redecorated across the blanket behind him.

About that coat: silver is a color phase of the red fox, not a different species and not a wolf mix. Same fox, dramatic wardrobe.

That grin is his official statement on the matter. The crackers were unguarded for maybe 30 seconds.

What has your pet stolen when nobody was looking? Confess below 👇

Kibble question for the exotic owners 🦊🦝

Important note first: kibble is only the base of the diet here. The crew also gets raw proteins, eggs, fruits, veggies, and species specific extras. No animal here lives on kibble alone, and nobody should.

We are thinking about switching that base off the current chicken kibble. Most of the crew does fine on it, but a few bellies are not fans, and chicken is the usual suspect.

If you keep foxes, raccoons, coatis, or skunks, what kibble base do you feed, and how do your animals do on it? We have our eye on the Mazuri exotic diets, but we want real world reviews first.

Drop your brand, your species, and your honest review below. Bonus points for sensitive stomach success stories 👇
