With the extreme temperatures we’re experiencing, please use extra caution when spending time outdoors with your pets. 🐾

If it’s too hot for you, it’s definitely too hot for them. High temperatures can quickly lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke, which can become life-threatening in a matter of minutes.

💧 Help keep your pets safe by:
• Limiting outdoor activity during the hottest parts of the day
• Providing plenty of fresh, cool water
• Avoiding hot pavement, which can burn paw pads
• Keeping pets indoors whenever possible in a cool, air-conditioned environment

The safest place for your pet during this extreme heat is inside. If you notice excessive panting, weakness, vomiting, or collapse, seek veterinary care immediately.
