This is so cute!!!

It’s time to celebrate the goodest boy in blue — Milo! Join the Fort Walton Beach Police Department on Nov. 7th from 4 PM to 6 PM as we throw a pawsome birthday celebration for our Wellness Therapy K9 at The Landing Park. Milo’s mission of spreading smiles, comfort, and positivity wouldn’t be possible without the love and support of our incredible community. October 27th is National Black Cat day which is PURRRRfect considering Halloween is just around the corner.
Did you know most black cats are male because they require only one X chromosome while females require two!
Supposedly in Japan single woman are encouraged to adopt black cats as they can attract a suitor
British Sailors believed that black cats onboard their ships brought good luck.
Black cats typically have yellow eyes
And lastly, black cats are the best cats....okay maybe I am biased because I have two black kitties but still!

Today we celebrate Angela!
Hey there! I’m Angela — a vet tech with 8 years of experience (and 5 of those with my amazing team where I am now!). I’ve always had a soft spot for the big pups — the bigger the dog, the bigger the love. 💙 When I’m not at work caring for furry friends, I’m home with my wonderful husband, our two awesome kids, and a wild bunch of 4 dogs and 2 cats who keep life busy, loud, and full of love.
A note from me, Angela is amazing to work with, her dedication to animals is truly incredible! ❤️

Celebrating another Ashley today!
Hi! I am also Ashley and the face behind our page and the one who is always trying to kiss your animals even if they want to bite me! I've been in vet med for 10 years and almost 7 years here at Companion, I am in pharmacy a lot filling medications so you may not see me as often as some of the other techs. I have 2 kitties and 2 parrots and would save every animal if I could! Being in vet med brings me so much joy and purpose and can't imagine doing anything else! ❤️

Today we celebrate Ashley!
Hi, I’m Ashley! I’ve been in the animal field since 2010, spending the past ten years in the veterinary world. My husband and I share our home with two dogs (an American Pit Bull and a Jack Russell), a couple fish, and a Rankins dragon. When I’m not working with animals, you’ll probably find me crocheting, reading, running, or skating.
( Ashley is always smiling and happy and so much fun to work with! Love her so much!)

Today we highlight Tori for Vet Tech week!
Vet med is a great opportunity to help educate the public, help my colleagues with patient load and care, and also because we have the cutest patients! I have been here at Companion for 9 years. I have been married for 11 yrs to my husband DJ and am a mom to a fantabulous 9 year old. I'm also a fur-mom to an amazing rescue, Marley Ann, and 2 cats: Lil Black and Caleesa.
(And a note from me! Tori is a clown! She is always telling jokes and making us all laugh and will lighten the mood of any situation which can be a major plus in any situation! ❤️)

Since it's Vet Tech week I want to highlight some of our amazing staff!
Today we recognize Harley!
Harley joined Companion in 2016 and has been in Vet Med since 2012. She went to school to be a veterinary technician assistant in high school and is currently working towards her Certified Veterinary Technician Degree/License and plans to graduate in 2026. Harley joined Vet med to help not only the animals but their owners as well. ⭐♥️
(And to add to that from myself, Harley is an amazing team member who actually trained me when I started and is more patient and kind than just about anyone I know! Love her!)
