New service available!

A benefit of working at Alaska K9 Center is that there is a MASSIVE space out of the grooming area for pups to loosen up before or after grooming. So why not utilize it?

Play time is an add on service available for before or after (or both if you want!) grooming to help keep your dog burn some energy before going home, and do help keep their grooming appointment associated with positive feelings. We have everything from tennis balls, tug toys, tunnels, and much more!

This is the only salon in the North Star Borough that offers this service. 😉

Today we reflect upon those who did not make it home and we above and beyond the call of duty. We honor your memory and will never forget the sacrifices that you and your family have made to ensure we have the freedoms we utilize daily.

This picture is from my stepfather who lost his nephew in Iraq at the age of 20. I never had the privilege to meet him, but I know he is still very loved and his presence is missed daily.

Another busy week at the salon! 🐾

Meet C**t, a German wirehaired pointer that was getting his very first hand stripping! He is such a sweetheart and blew me away with how patient he was for the whole process. Plus he found a tennis ball after grooming and went ham on that thing. 🎾
