I decided to open up a few appointments for Monday through Wednesday this week so any pups who need a little pre-Thanksgiving fresh-up can get taken care of before the holiday.🙌🏽🐾

It was a last-minute choice, but I love making room for my clients when I can. After Wednesday, I’ll be taking the rest of the week off to be with family and enjoy the holiday, so these spots are the only ones available til next week. 🦃

If your fur baby needs in, just reach out !! I’d love to get them cleaned up before the festivities.🥹🙏🏽🐾

Dear Diary,
Today I bathed a Golden who thought he was a pancake, a Pomeranian who burst my ear drums, a Newfoundland who had just come out the womb, a really cute Cavapoo who hated me, and a Chow Chow who tried to bite me for looking at the tap.
I’m soaked, fur covered, slightly traumatised and still coming back tomorrow. Living the dream! 🐶

Your puppy doesn’t know it yet… but one day they’re gonna meet the blow dryer, the clippers, and a stranger (me ☺️) holding their paws like it’s a first date. 🐾😂

That’s why desensitization is key!! A little practice now, touching paws, gentle brushing, letting them hear “scary” sounds means WAY less stress (for them and for you) down the road.

Think of it as puppy preschool for grooming. ✂️🥹

A few minutes a day goes a long way!! :

• Handle their paws and ears so touch feels normal & gently redirect them from snapping or play biting.

• Brush them gently, even if they don’t “need it” yet. (They probably do with these dang stickers out here.. Let’s be honest.)

• Let them hear clippers or a blow dryer in the background. (IMPORTANT!!!!)

• Give them positive experiences in the tub or on a table.

These small steps now build confidence and make future grooms stress-free instead of scary. It’s one of the best gifts you can give your dog for their lifetime of care.

🍂 The Grooming Garage is Now Booking for September! 🍂

Ft. Stockton neighbors, I am thrilled to open my doors to your sweet pups! I now have full availability from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday. Whether it is their very first visit or they are coming back for another pampering, I am ready to make them feel fresh, clean, and cared for.

Here is what you need to know before you book:
1. Vaccines Required – All pups must have at least 3 rounds of Parvo, Bordetella, and Dewormer shots from a licensed veterinarian.
2. Fleas and Ticks – If your pup arrives with fleas or ticks, there will be a $20 charge for a flea/tick dip, and a property treatment fee to keep my home safe for all.
3. Drop-off and Pick-up – Please arrive on time. If you will be late, call or message me within 15 minutes. After that, late fees apply as I am a groomer, not a daycare.
4. Paperwork & Requests – First-time clients will fill out intake paperwork at drop-off. Returning clients will have a quick contact card with space to share any requests or notes for each groom.
5. Safe Arrival & Respect – Please bring your dog on a properly fitted leash or harness and message or call when you are on your way, as I have five dogs of my own. My property is still a work in progress and will only get better from here — I appreciate your patience and understanding as I grow this space into something special for your pets.

Once your appointment is booked and confirmed, I will share my exact location details to keep everyone safe and organized.

After months of planning, scrubbing, and dreaming, my little grooming shop is finally open! 🐾✨

This has been a labor of love, and I’m beyond excited to open my doors to the pups that make this town feel like home. I’ve set this place up to be warm, welcoming, and full of the kind of care your pup deserves whether it’s a full spa day, a fresh bath and tidy, or just a nail trim to keep them comfy.

I’ll be here ready with gentle hands, a listening ear, and a happy heart for each and every dog that comes trotting in.

This is it. You’ve watched me dream this up, and now it’s almost real.
