On short-haired cats and dogs, fleas survive an average of 8 days; they live longer on long-haired animals.

Kayla has been a veterinary technician for seven years. She was born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi. She recently moved to Fort Smith to be with her fiancée. If Kayla isn’t at work, she enjoys spending time with family, caring for her pets (a chihuahua, lab, and cat), or participating in e-sports with friends. She takes great pride in caring for each patient to the best of her abilities.

Amanda has been with us for almost 2 years now. Helping animals is her passion, and this is the most rewarding job for her. She has 4 fur babies - a yorkie, a min pin, a pit Bull/dachshund, and a hybrid bobcat. Amanda enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the lake, spending time with her mom, anything outdoors, or just chillin at home. She always looks forward to meeting new friends! 👋

This is our Senior Veterinary Technician, Taylor! 🐾

Taylor doesn’t currently work in the office, but rather behind the scenes online & running the business page. Taylor has been with us since 2021, and attended Petra Allied Health for her certification. She enjoys being a stay at home wife to Philip, & mom to Tristan & new baby Isaac. She’s also a senior student at UAFS working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She has a passion to help those who struggle with substance abuse & mental health & hopes to one day open her own counseling practice! In addition, she has a passion for learning, all animals and helping others!

This is Dr. Philip Brunck! 🐾

Philip is a graduate of Louisiana State University, graduated School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, & founded Fianna Hills Pet Hospital in 1993. He has 2 adult children Andrew and Hannah. He currently has 2 grandchildren. He is married to his amazing wife Taylor. In addition to their 12 year old son Tristan, they just welcomed a new addition to their family, baby Isaac! Together they have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds, and a bearded dragon.

This is Laci Batson, our groomer! 🐕

She has been grooming for almost 2 decades. She has a husband of almost 16 years, two wonderful children, a German Shepherd, and a really funny rescue kitty. Laci enjoys baking, cooking, ministry, gardening, and hanging out with friends and fam by the pool. Her main job is to take care of your furry friends, but she also really enjoys their people. So, if your in the office, feel free to pop your head in and say hello to her! 👋
