Do you have a family photo of all your cats?

Or is trying to get all of them in one picture like trying to nail Jell-O to a wall?

Maybe you get three looking at the camera, one licking its leg or other body parts, another walking out of frame, and one mysterious tail where a cat used to be.

One of the most important parts of Kitten Friday is self-care. Please stand up, stretch your legs, roll your shoulders, and take a lap around the office.

If anyone asks why you’re away from your desk, simply explain that you’re following a kitten-approved wellness program.

If they continue asking questions, hiss at them.

Not aggressively. Just enough to establish boundaries.

Honestly, there should probably be laws against this level of cuteness. I’m not saying these kittens are weaponizing their tiny noses, fluffy bellies, and innocent expressions… but I’m also not not saying that.

I have officially declared today Kitten Friday!

No particular reason other than kittens are cute, and we currently have some absolutely adorable kittens in foster care who want to brighten everyone’s day.

Throughout the day, I will be sharing kitten photos so you can take regular kitten breaks. Research conducted by Hefty and a panel of highly qualified cats has determined that looking at kittens improves morale, boosts happiness, and makes the workday at least 37% more tolerable.

If your boss has concerns about your participation in Kitten Friday, please direct all complaints to our Mascat, Hefty. He reviewed the proposal, sat on the paperwork, and approved it immediately.

Now carry on with your day, and remember: stopping to admire kittens is not procrastination. It’s an investment in workplace wellness. 🐾❤️

Is that showing my age a bit? Do we still call them album covers? Playlist thumbnails? Streaming era emotional support rectangles? Whatever they’re called now… this picture has the vibe.

Somebody notify Taylor Swift because I think we can help with her next project. This cat looks like it has survived heartbreak, written three revenge songs, and stared dramatically out a rainy window at least once.

And you know what that means…

It’s OPEN HOUSE NIGHT at Jen’s Kitty Rehab! ❤️

From 6pm–8pm the kitties will be accepting visitors, cuddles, compliments, and applications for a potential forever human. Some of them are professionals at making biscuits. Some are tiny chaos goblins. Some just want somebody to sit with them and tell them they’re pretty.

Come spend your evening surrounded by cats, kitten zoomies, purrs, toe beans, and the magic that happens when rescue kitties get a second chance.

Who knows… your new best friend might be waiting for you tonight. 🐱
