I only crate for puppy’s over night/ when I step out of the house or owners who prefer their dogs crated or know they need to be crated when necessary. I have designated areas in my house where they can free roam and I have baby gates in every door way of my home. I might not crate 24/7 but I do not let animals have full access to my house. I have small children who need their own space as well and I can’t keep everyone safe if I didn’t have that set up.
