Meet Piglet, the resilient pup who recently came to us after receiving several weeks of dedicated care at another veterinary clinic. We want to emphasize that the other vet played a crucial role in Piglet's journey, referring her to us for specialized therapy.
Piglet arrived with severe swelling in her left hind paw, which had progressed to open wounds, ultimately resulting in the loss of two toes. We started a treatment plan two weeks ago of antibiotics, pain medications, hydrotherapy, Artemis laser therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
Today, we're thrilled to share that Piglet has graduated from hyperbaric and laser therapy and is well on her way to recovery. Her remarkable progress means she's now cleared to continue healing at home with the help of her loving mother, And, as any pet owner knows, one thing that will make Piglet even happier is when she no longer has to wear that cone.
Piglet's journey is a testament to her resilience and the power of collaborative care. We're excited to be a part of her healing process, and we look forward to seeing her continue to thrive on her path to full recovery!
