After we purchased the Farm and started clearing decades of neglect and overgrowth, we stumbled upon a red boat in the middle of the woods. The Red Boat has become our "Rally Point", our spot to stop and eat lunch or sleep under the stars. We are still in the process of clearing and cleaning but we have LOTS of plans for Red Boat Farm! So, check in with us and watch us grow.

Our Story

After we purchased the Farm and started clearing decades of neglect and overgrowth, we stumbled upon a red boat in the middle of the woods. Thus became the name, Red Boat Farm. The Red Boat has become our "Rally Point", our spot to stop and eat lunch or sleep under the stars. We are still in the process of clearing and cleaning but we have LOTS of plans for Red Boat Farm!

We are now in year 2 and we’ve added Belted Galloway Cows, Longhorn Cattle, Kunekune pigs, Royal Palm Turkeys, Goats, Lots of Chickens, Guineas and Katahdin Sheep. We are still clearing and cleaning. Our latest project has been to add a couple of chicken pens for growing and breeding specific breeds including Barred Rocks and Speckled Sussex. Our “hobby farm” has become a full-time job of Stacey and continues to grow with David working off-site to fund our projects. We hope to be able to build a house and live here full-time in the coming years.
